Our mission is to remain faithful and follow in Jesus Christ’s footsteps, spreading a testimony of truth to all who will hear.
John 18:37: Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 9:11: Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Isaiah 12:5: Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
We’re Testify from Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. 3 of us were in the same graduating class at Terry Hill Mennonite High school in 2009 and sang our first song together at our graduation.
When Duane became a camp counselor at Balg Eagle, Jesse joined as our new bass singer. Duane has since returned, making us a group of 5.
The word testify means to make a statement based on personal knowledge or belief, and that is the goal of each one of us as we continue to reach out in singing. Music is powerful – it is a gateway into the heart and is extremely effective when used to spread God’s word. Our mission is to reach as far out into the world as we can with praises and testimony to the Lord.
